Tables and QR codes

How to print all your table QR codes at once

Sticking on QR codes table by table is a silly amount of work when your restaurant has twenty tables. qmen.us puts them all on a single sheet, with the name and link under each code, so you can print, cut and start sticking.

Quick answer

Open Tables on the Dashboard and click Print QR codes to print all your table QR codes at once: the sheet gathers every active table, three per row, with the name and link under each QR code, and the print dialog opens by itself. To print just one, use Print on its card.

What the sheet with every table's QR code is

Printing your table QR codes in qmen.us doesn't mean downloading one code at a time. There's a ready-made sheet that gathers the QR code of every active table in your restaurant on a single page, three per row, with the table's name and public link under each code. You open it, send it to the printer, cut and stick.

The sheet is a browser page, not a file to download. It opens in a new tab with your restaurant's name already in the header and brings up the print dialog by itself. Each card prints whole, never split in the middle when the grid moves to the next page — so what you cut is always a complete QR code with the name on the right side.

Why print them all at once

  • One print covers the whole dining room. Instead of opening each table and saving twenty images, you click once and walk away with your entire restaurant on paper, in the order the tables were added.
  • The name and link are printed along with it. Under each QR code you get the table's name and its public address. That avoids the classic mistake of sticking table 3's code on table 4 — you can check before you tape it down.
  • Print once and it lasts. The table code goes into the link and doesn't change after it's created, so the paper on the table keeps working even if you rename the table or edit the menu.
  • It uses little ink. The colored background on screen doesn't go to paper: when printed, the sheet is white, with a black QR code and a thin border around each card.
  • It costs nothing. qmen.us is free for the restaurant and charges no commission per order — printing five or fifty QR codes makes no difference. We don't process money either: PIX or cash is arranged directly between the customer and the restaurant.

Step by step to print the QR code sheet

Seven steps, from the Dashboard to a sticker that's stuck on and tested with a phone.

  1. Open the Tables page

Go to your restaurant's Dashboard and open Tables. The page opens with your dining room counters and a card for each table you've added. This is where the sheet comes from — you don't need to open each table to gather the codes.

  2. Check which tables are active

Only active tables make it onto the sheet. If you removed a table that already had orders, it was deactivated instead of deleted, so its history stays intact — and an inactive table doesn't print. Take a look at the grid before printing and reactivate anything that's missing.

  3. Name the tables that need it

What the sheet prints above each QR code is the table's Name. If a table has no name, its card prints as Table plus the code — Table 7, Table patio-1. If you want the paper to say Window table or Patio, fill in the name before you print.

Tip: You can change the name anytime without touching the QR code. It's the code that goes into the link and stays frozen — that's why the sticker lasts.
  4. Click Print QR codes

At the top of the Tables page, the Print QR codes button opens the sheet in a new tab. The header shows your restaurant's name and, right below, the grid with the QR code of every active table: three per row, each with its name and link underneath. If you don't have any active tables, the page tells you there's nothing to print.

  5. Check the print dialog

The browser's print dialog opens by itself right after the sheet loads. The beige background on screen doesn't go to paper, and each card prints whole, never split between one page and the next. If you close the dialog by accident, the Print button at the top of the sheet brings it back — and that button doesn't show up on paper.

  6. Print just one table when you need to

One table's sticker got ruined? No need to reprint the whole restaurant. On that table's card, on the Tables page, there's Print; on the table's own page, Print QR code. It opens the same sheet with just one card.

  7. Cut, stick and test with the camera

Cut along the cards and stick them where a seated guest can see them: on the tabletop, in a table stand or on the napkin holder. Then grab your phone, point the camera and check that it opens the right page — the link printed under the QR code is there precisely so you can match card and table before sticking.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything to print the sheet?+

No. qmen.us runs in the browser and the sheet is a regular page: it uses the browser's own print dialog, with the printer you already have set up on your computer. There's no qmen.us app in any app store.

Can I save it as a PDF instead of sending it to the printer?+

Yes. In the browser's print dialog, change the destination from your printer to save as PDF. That's a browser option, not a qmen.us button — the file comes out exactly like the sheet you're looking at.

I closed the print dialog by accident. Now what?+

The sheet is still open in the other tab. At the top of it there's the Print button, which brings the dialog back. That button doesn't show up on paper, so it doesn't get in the way of the printed result.

A table didn't show up on the sheet. Why?+

The sheet only includes active tables. If the table was removed and had orders in its history, it was deactivated instead of deleted — it drops off the sheet and stops taking orders. Reactivate it on the Tables page and print again.

Can I print the QR code for just one table?+

Yes. Use the Print button inside the table's card on the Tables page, or Print QR code on that table's page. It opens the same sheet, just with a single card.

I use tabs instead of tables. Does anything change on the sheet?+

The sheet works the same. In the header and in the cards' default name it writes Table plus the code. If you want a different word printed, fill in the Name — that's what the sheet shows when there is one.
