Open the Dashboard, look at the Payments to confirm queue and check your bank statement before confirming the PIX payment. With the money in your account, tap Confirm payment: the order is no longer on hold and goes to the kitchen right away. Didn't land? Reject order cancels it.
What the Payments to confirm queue is
Confirming a PIX payment is your manual OK on a delivery order the customer says they've paid. That order doesn't go to the kitchen on its own: it's held on the Dashboard, in a queue called Payments to confirm, with the amount, the name the customer gave as the payer, the delivery address and how long it's been waiting. Two buttons settle the row: Confirm payment and Reject order.
It's worth remembering why the check is yours: qmen.us doesn't process money. PIX is settled directly between the customer and the restaurant, with the key you saved in Settings, and we can't see your statement. While the order is held, it stays as a Draft, doesn't show up on the kitchen display and doesn't count toward active orders. Table orders and pay-on-delivery orders don't go through this queue: those go straight through.
Why the order waits for your confirmation
- The kitchen doesn't cook for free. Until the payment is confirmed, the order doesn't even appear on the display. No prep station starts putting together a dish that nobody may have paid for.
- The decision is yours, not a robot's. You're the one who looks at the statement. We don't read your bank account, don't block any amount and don't hold anything: we just show the waiting order and wait for your tap.
- The customer isn't left in the dark. On their screen, the order shows it's awaiting the restaurant's confirmation. As soon as you confirm, they see that preparation has started; if you reject it, they're notified and get a shortcut to contact the restaurant.
- You can clear up doubts without leaving qmen.us. When an order sits for a few minutes, a chat opens between you and the customer. They can send the receipt as a photo or PDF right there, without switching apps.
- The day's revenue stays honest. Only what you've confirmed counts toward the revenue figure and the average order on the Dashboard. A rejected order drops out instead of inflating the report.
How to confirm a PIX payment in 7 steps
There are seven steps, from setting up the key to the confirmed order heading to the kitchen.
-
Turn on PIX in Settings
In Settings, turn on the PIX payment toggle and fill in the PIX key — CPF/CNPJ, email, phone number or random key. The Recipient name field is optional: it's shown to the customer to check who they're paying and, if empty, the restaurant's name is used. With no key filled in, the PIX option doesn't even appear for the customer.
-
Open the Dashboard and find the queue
Go to the Dashboard. Right below the day's numbers, when there's an order waiting, the Payments to confirm block appears, with a counter next to the title and a reminder to check your account before confirming. No need to keep reloading the page: the Dashboard updates on its own as soon as a new order enters the queue.
-
Read the order's row
Each order in the queue is a single row, with the amount highlighted — R$ 42,00, for example — and the order name. Below it come the name the customer gave as whoever made the PIX payment, the delivery address and how long ago the order came in. That's all you need to match it against your statement without opening anything else.
-
Check at your bank
Open your bank app and look for the entry: the same amount and, when the customer gave it, the name of who paid. qmen.us doesn't talk to the bank or read your statement — the money goes straight from the customer to your key, and the check is yours. This is exactly the step that keeps the restaurant from preparing an order nobody paid for.
Tip: Check by the exact amount before the name: lots of people pay from another family member's account. -
Tap Confirm payment
Did it land? Tap Confirm payment. The order leaves Draft instantly, appears on the display of the prep station in charge and, if that station has printing turned on, the ticket joins the printer's queue. The order also starts counting toward the day's revenue. The row disappears from the queue and the customer gets a notice on their screen that the payment was confirmed and preparation has started.
-
When in doubt, chat before deciding
If the amount doesn't match or the PIX payment hasn't shown up yet, use the Chat button on the row itself — it becomes available after a few minutes of waiting, or as soon as the customer writes something. You land in the Chat with the customer block on the order page, where you can ask for the receipt. The customer can reply with text and attach a photo or PDF.
-
Reject it if the money didn't arrive
With no PIX payment in your account and no reply, tap Reject order. The Dashboard asks whether you really want to cancel before doing anything. Once you confirm, the order is cancelled, leaves the queue and never reaches the kitchen. On the other side, the customer is told the payment wasn't confirmed and gets a shortcut to contact the restaurant.
Frequently asked questions
Does qmen.us keep any part of the amount?+
No. PIX is settled directly between the customer and you: the money lands on your key, in your account, and we never touch it. qmen.us is free for the restaurant and charges no commission per order — it isn't a marketplace. What the Dashboard does is show you who says they've paid and wait for your final word.
Do table orders also wait for confirmation?+
No. Only delivery orders the customer chose to pay via PIX are held. Table orders, through the table QR code or the waiter, go straight to the kitchen. Delivery orders with pay on delivery also go straight through, because the driver collects at the door.
The customer tapped I've paid but the PIX payment didn't land. Now what?+
The I've paid button is just the customer's word: nothing goes to the kitchen before you confirm. If, after checking your statement, the amount isn't there, tap Chat and ask for the receipt. With no reply or no money, use Reject order — the Dashboard asks for confirmation and cancels the order.
How long does the order sit waiting?+
As long as you take. The order doesn't disappear or get sent on its own: it stays in the queue until you confirm or reject it, and the row shows how long ago it came in. After a few minutes without confirmation, qmen.us opens the chat on both sides so you and the customer can sort it out.
Can I undo a confirmation?+
There's no undo button. As soon as you confirm, the order becomes a sent order, appears on the display and, if that prep station has printing turned on, the ticket joins the printer's queue. Tapping Confirm payment again does nothing: the order is no longer on hold.
Where do I see the chat and the receipt the customer sent?+
On the order page, in the Chat with the customer block. The customer can send text and attach a photo or PDF of the receipt, and you reply right there. When the order is confirmed or rejected, the chat closes.
