Open the Track order link the chat gives you: it takes you to a page for your order, with the four stages (Ordered, Preparing, Ready and Served), the items and the estimated time. The screen updates on its own and, when the order arrives, you tap I got my order.
What the order status link is
The status link is your order's address inside the restaurant's page, in the format qmen.us/your-restaurant/pedido/your-code/. The code at the end is what identifies the order, so you can track a delivery order with no account, no password and nothing to install: qmen.us runs in the browser, there's no app in a store. The page also asks search engines not to index it, so it doesn't show up on Google.
What you see there is the same picture the kitchen is seeing. At the top is the Delivery badge with the restaurant's name; below it, the order card with the address and a status badge; then the four-stage track and the list of items, each with its own badge: Waiting, Preparing, Ready or Served.
Why the status link takes the stress out of waiting
- Nobody has to call and ask. The status line spells out in plain words what's going on — The kitchen is preparing it, Order ready! — with an estimate like Ready in about 15 min, worked out from that restaurant's history.
- The screen updates by itself. Every few seconds it fetches the latest state and swaps the content without flickering, and it fetches again as soon as you come back to the tab. The footer has the reminder: This screen updates automatically.
- You can see it item by item. When part of the order is already out, the Ready stage shows half filled and the counter tells you how many items are still in the kitchen.
- The link gives no control over the order. Anyone who opens the address can only read the status. The only action available is confirming you received it, and even that only shows up after the kitchen has marked it READY.
How to track a delivery order in 7 steps
Seven steps, from the end of the chat to tapping I got my order.
-
Finish the order in the chat
Once you've picked your items, the chat asks where the order is going and, when you answer that you're at home, asks for your address, your name and how you'll pay. At the end, right below the confirmation, the Track order button appears — that's what opens your status page.
-
Save the order link
As soon as the page opens, the address in the browser bar is already your link. It's worth bookmarking: it keeps working in any browser, on a computer or on someone else's phone, with no sign-in at all.
-
Read the top of the page
The header shows the Delivery badge, the restaurant's name and the title Track your order, with the note Updates automatically · in real time. The card shows the name you gave the order (or Order #12), the Delivery line with your address and the badge for the current status.
-
Follow the four stages
The track marks where your order is: Ordered (Received), Preparing (In the kitchen), Ready (Ready to serve) and Served (Enjoy your meal). The current stage lights up and the earlier ones get a check mark. Below, each item shows its own badge, so you can see the fries are ready while the burger is still Preparing.
-
If you chose PIX, wait for the confirmation
An order paid by PIX, Brazil's instant payment system, first shows the Awaiting payment badge and the message Confirming your payment. qmen.us doesn't process money: PIX is arranged directly between you and the restaurant, and cooking starts once the owner confirms. Pay on delivery orders go straight to the kitchen.
-
Use the bubble to jump back
If you close the page and keep browsing, a small dark bubble floats in the bottom corner with a short status: Preparing, Ready in about 12 min. One tap on it takes you back to the order, and the × dismisses it when you don't want it anymore.
Tip: It disappears on its own once the order is served and never shows up on the status page itself — there, you're already tracking. -
Tap I got my order
When the delivery person arrives, open the link and tap the I got my order button, which only shows up once the order is READY. The status turns Served, the message changes to All served — enjoy your meal! and the kitchen, the waiter and the Dashboard are notified instantly.
Frequently asked questions
I lost the order link. How do I get back?+
If you're still on the restaurant's pages, the order bubble takes you back with one tap — it remembers the order for about six hours, unless you dismissed it with the ×. If it's really gone, contact the restaurant: the order is still on their Dashboard.
Can someone who gets my link change my order?+
No. The link only reads the status. The one thing it allows is confirming I got my order, and only after the kitchen has marked it READY — nobody can pull your order out of the kitchen halfway through.
Why hasn't my order moved to Preparing yet?+
Most likely it's a PIX payment waiting for confirmation. While the badge says Awaiting payment, the order hasn't reached the kitchen: it joins the queue as soon as the restaurant confirms it got the money.
I forgot to tap I got my order. Does that break anything?+
Nothing is lost. The order stays READY until someone marks it served — you through the link or the restaurant through the Dashboard. Tapping the button just clears the kitchen's queue faster.
Does qmen.us charge a commission on my order?+
No. It's free for the restaurant with no commission per order: we're not a marketplace like iFood and we don't process money. Payment is arranged directly with the restaurant.
