Open the sign-in page and tap Sign in with Google: that's how you create a qmen.us account, with no form and no password. Pick your Google account and, on the next screen, tell us whether you're a restaurant owner, a waiter or a guest. We'll take you to the right screen.
What signing in with Google means on qmen.us
Creating a qmen.us account is, in practice, signing in with Google. The sign-in page has one button for it — Sign in with Google — and no email or password fields. Whoever signs in becomes a user of the system, with the name, email and photo Google shares. Your Google password stays with Google; we never see it.
This account is your identity in the system, and it's what links you to the restaurant. Right after comes the profile choice, where we ask what you do there: owner, waiter or guest. That answer doesn't grant or take away any permission — it only decides which screen opens first: the restaurant's Dashboard, the list of restaurants where you're a waiter, or your visits as a guest.
Why sign-in is Google-only
- One less password to forget. Nobody at the restaurant has to make up, write down on paper or reset an account password. Google already takes care of that, including two-step verification if you use it.
- We don't store your password. The system receives only your name, email and profile photo from Google. There's no account password in our database to leak or for you to recover.
- Everyone lands on the right screen. Because the profile is chosen right at sign-in, the owner opens the Dashboard, the waiter opens their list and the guest opens their visits. Nobody goes hunting for links.
- Nothing to install. Everything runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There's no app to download from any store, and you can pin the site to your home screen if you like.
How to sign up for qmen.us in 6 steps
Six steps, from the first tap to your profile's screen.
-
Open the sign-in page
On the qmen.us website, tap Sign in with Google — the button is right at the top of the home page. You land on a split screen: the brand on one side, the button on the other. Opened it by accident? The Back to site link, in the top corner, takes you back.
-
Tap Sign in with Google
It's the only way to create your account — there are no email and password fields there. We send you straight to Google, with no confirmation screen in between. It's the same account you already use for Gmail or on your phone, so you don't need to create anything new.
-
Choose which Google account to use
Google always shows the account picker, even if you're already signed in to one. That's on purpose: many people have a personal account and a restaurant account. Choose the one that will be your work account.
-
Tell us your profile
Back on qmen.us, the Great to see you here! screen opens. By default everyone comes in as a guest. If you work at a restaurant, tap one of the two cards: I own a restaurant or I'm a waiter. Then tap Continue — or Continue as a guest, if you didn't pick a card.
-
Check where you landed
Owners land on the restaurant setup, where everything begins: the restaurant's name, menu, tables and kitchen. Waiters land on Where you're a waiter, the list of restaurants that have linked their email. Guests land on their visits, with the tabs of the tables they've sat at.
Tip: Waiter list empty? Ask the owner to add exactly the Google email you used — the link is made by email and happens on its own the next time you sign in. -
Switch profiles if you picked the wrong one
At the bottom of that same screen there's a settings link, which reopens the profile choice. You can switch as often as you like: the profile only changes which screen opens first, and it doesn't delete anything that already exists.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a password to sign in to qmen.us?+
Not to sign in to your account: the main sign-in is Google-only. The waiter password is something else — it works at the waiter URL inside the restaurant and in the "or sign in as staff" box on the sign-in page, with the Restaurant code and the Staff password.
Can I use qmen.us without a Google account?+
To have an account, not today. But not everyone needs an account: a guest who scans the table QR code follows their order with no sign-in at all, and waiters and the kitchen can sign in with the restaurant code and the staff password.
Do I need to install an app?+
No. qmen.us runs in the browser, on a phone, tablet or computer. There's no app in any store; if you like, you can add the site to your phone's home screen.
How much does it cost to open an account?+
Nothing. The account is free and so is using it: qmen.us is free for the restaurant, with no commission per order. We're not a marketplace — the order belongs to the restaurant, and payment is arranged directly with the customer.
Does qmen.us see my Google password?+
No. Google does the check and sends us back only the name, email and profile photo. The password never passes through qmen.us.
Can I use two Google accounts, a personal one and the restaurant's?+
Yes. Google shows the account picker every time you sign in, even if you're already signed in to one. Each account you pick becomes a separate user, with its own profile and its own restaurants.
