How to claim your restaurant on qmen.us

If the qmen.us team has already built your restaurant's profile, you don't need to start from scratch. You can take over that profile with the activation link and start using the Dashboard the same day.

Quick answer

Open the activation link the qmen.us team sent you and sign in with your Google account to claim your restaurant. Tap Claim restaurant: the profile is linked to your account, and the menu, tables, kitchens and waiters become yours. The link works only once.

What an unclaimed profile on qmen.us is

An unclaimed profile is a restaurant that already exists in qmen.us but isn't linked to any account yet. The qmen.us team builds this profile with a name, address, menu and tables and leaves it waiting; claiming your restaurant simply means tying that ready-made profile to your Google account and becoming its administrator.

Until someone claims it, the profile has no one in charge day to day: no one to adjust prices, print the table QR codes or decide what goes to each kitchen. Once you claim it, the Dashboard is all yours — and the waiter's tab can start moving from Draft to Preparing, Ready and Served, using the menu we already set up for you.

Why claim the profile instead of creating another one

  • The tedious work is already done. Menu typed in, tables created, kitchen set up: claiming a ready-made profile saves you the slowest part of getting started, which is entering item after item.
  • You become the real administrator. Once you claim it, your account is in charge of the menu, the tables, the waiters and the Settings — nobody touches your restaurant without going through you.
  • It's free, with no commission per order. qmen.us isn't a marketplace like iFood and doesn't take a cut of the sale. We don't touch the money either: PIX (Brazil's instant payment system) is arranged directly between the customer and your register.
  • One account, one restaurant. The rule is simple and avoids confusion: each qmen.us account can own only one restaurant, so the Dashboard never turns into a jumble of businesses.
  • Nothing to install. Everything runs in the browser — the waiter's phone, the kitchen's tablet, the computer at the register. There's no app to download from a store and no updates to chase.

How to claim your restaurant, step by step

Six steps, and the first four take less time than setting a table for lunch.

  1. Sign in with your Google account

If you open the link without being signed in, qmen.us takes you to the sign-in page and then brings you back on its own. Owners sign in only with the Sign in with Google button — there's no email password here. Use the account that will own the restaurant from now on, because that's the account the profile will be tied to.

  2. Check that the restaurant really is yours

The page shows Claim “restaurant name” and, right below it, how many items are already on the menu and how many tables and kitchens the team set up. Does the name match? Does the number of tables match your dining room? Then it's yours. If the name is wrong, don't claim it: tell the team first, because undoing it later is more work.

  3. Tap Claim restaurant

It's the big button at the bottom of the page. When you tap it, the profile is linked to your account right away, a message tells you you're now the owner and qmen.us takes you straight to the Dashboard. At that same moment the activation link is used up: it stops working forever, so nobody can claim your restaurant after you.

Tip: If you see “Invalid or expired activation link,” ask the team for a new one — generating a new link always cancels the previous one.
  4. Review your menu, tables and kitchen

Now the Dashboard is yours. It's worth opening the Menu to check prices and descriptions, going into Tables to see whether your dining room is set up right and to print the table QR codes, and checking under Kitchens where each item will end up. After that, just add your waiters and the first tab can move from Draft all the way to Ready and Served.

  5. Transfer ownership if the restaurant changes hands

Sold the business or want to hand the Dashboard to your partner? In Settings, open the Danger zone and use Transfer restaurant: enter the email of the person receiving it and type the restaurant's name to confirm. That person must have signed in to qmen.us at least once, and you lose owner access immediately.

Frequently asked questions

The activation link expired or gave an error. Now what?+

Ask the qmen.us team for a new link. If someone generated a second link for your restaurant, the earlier one stops working right away — so always use the most recent one. After many failed attempts in a row with a wrong link, the page locks for a few minutes; just wait and try again.

Do I have to pay anything to claim the restaurant?+

No. Claiming the profile is free and there's no commission per order. qmen.us doesn't process payments either: when a customer pays by PIX, the money goes straight to your key, as arranged between the two of you.

The link says it's reserved for another account. Why?+

The team can lock the activation link to a specific email, to make sure only the owner claims it. Sign in to Google with exactly that email, or ask the team to remove the email from the link.

Can I own two restaurants with the same account?+

No. Each qmen.us account can own only one restaurant. If you already have one and are about to claim another, use a different Google account — or first transfer the first one to someone on your team.

Someone claimed my restaurant by mistake. Can I get it back?+

Yes. The person listed as owner goes into Settings, opens the Danger zone and uses Transfer restaurant, entering your email. You must have signed in to qmen.us at least once to receive it.

Do I need to install an app to use it afterwards?+

No. qmen.us runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer — there's no app to download from a store. Just save the Dashboard's address to your home screen if you want to open it faster.
