How to register your restaurant on qmen.us and get your URL

Your restaurant on qmen.us starts with a name and ends with a short address that fits under the QR code stuck on the table. We'll go from signing in with Google to your public page going live, field by field, just as they appear on screen.

Quick answer

Sign in with your Google account, type your restaurant's name and click Create: you can register your restaurant on qmen.us in less than a minute. The short code is generated automatically and your public page is already live at qmen.us/abc. You can fill in the logo, address, phone numbers and hours later, in Settings.

What the restaurant code and the public page are

Registering your restaurant on qmen.us means creating your restaurant's profile in the system: name, code and public page, all at once. The code is a very short address, 12 characters at most, that we generate automatically when you sign up — it becomes the URL your guests visit, like qmen.us/k3f, and it's shown on your Dashboard, right below the greeting.

This page is the showcase for your menu: guests see the items, the phone numbers, the address on a map and the opening hours. The links for your tables come from this same code, one per table, and they become the QR codes stuck on the tables. That's why registration comes before everything else: without it there's no menu to build, no table to number and no tab to open.

Why it's worth filling everything in before opening your tables

  • A short address fits under the QR code. A qmen.us/k3f printed on the table sticker or at the bottom of the menu is easy to type by hand, and anyone who has the code can go straight in from the qmen.us home page, without looking for your restaurant in a list.
  • Your logo sets the colors of your page. When you upload your logo, we pull two colors from it and build the header with them — the Brand style combines those colors with your photo. You don't have to do any design work.
  • Address and hours help people find you. City, state and CEP (zip code) help the restaurant show up in local searches, and the hours are what let the page show whether you're open right now — guests don't need to call and ask.
  • A cell phone number becomes WhatsApp on its own. You type the number and we turn it into a chat link on the menu, with whatever label you want (reservations, counter, delivery).
  • It's free, with no commission per order. No percentage on sales and no payment middleman: the money is arranged directly between you and the customer, PIX (Brazil's instant payment system) included.

How to register your restaurant on qmen.us, step by step

Eight stops, from your Google account to the public page open on your phone.

  1. Sign in with your Google account

On the qmen.us home page, click Sign in with Google and choose the account you use every day. There's no password form for owners: sign-in is Google-only, and this account will be the one responsible for the restaurant. Use an account you won't lose.

  2. Name your restaurant and click Create

Right after you sign in, the New restaurant screen appears with just one question: what the place is called. Write the name your guests know (the field suggests something like "Joe's Bar") and click Create. With that click we create your restaurant, generate its public address and set up a kitchen called "Kitchen" so you don't start from scratch.

  3. Note your code on the Dashboard

You land straight on the Dashboard. Below the greeting, next to the Open now or Closed dot, there's a badge that reads qmen.us/ plus three characters: that's your code. Click it to open your public page in a new tab and take a look. This address is what goes on your stickers, on Instagram and on your business card.

Tip: The code is drawn at random when you sign up and doesn't change afterwards — there's no field to edit it in Settings. So you can have stickers and menus printed without worrying about redoing them.
  4. Upload your logo and cover photo

Click the gear on the Dashboard to open Settings and start with the General section. Under Logo, use Choose logo, paste the image with Ctrl+V, or drag it onto the thumbnail. Do the same for Restaurant photo — the storefront, the dining room or a well-shot dish. We read the colors of your logo and build your page's header with them, in the Brand style. Use the Description for a sentence or two about the restaurant.

  5. Get the address right on the map

In the Location section, start typing the street and pick one of the suggestions that appear; the pin drops onto the map on its own, and you can drag it if it lands on the wrong corner. Fill in City, State and CEP: this is what makes the restaurant show up in searches like "restaurant in Porto Alegre", and what turns on the call-the-waiter button, which is only offered to people who are on site.

  6. Add your public phone numbers

Still in General, use + Add phone for each number that can appear on the menu: counter, reservations, WhatsApp. The label next to it is optional and tells guests who they're calling. We recognize cell phone numbers on our own and turn them into a WhatsApp link — the guest taps it and lands right in the chat.

  7. Set your opening hours

In the Opening hours section, each day of the week has a + Add hours button. You can add more than one time slot on the same day, like 11:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00. A day with no hours is marked as closed — and that's how the public page and the Dashboard know to show Open now or Closed.

  8. Click Save and look at your page

Scroll to the bottom and click Save. You go back to the Dashboard; click the badge with your address and look at the page the way guests see it: header with your logo, description, phone numbers, map and hours. Everything look right? Then the next step is to build your menu and create your tables with their QR codes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose my restaurant's code?+

No. qmen.us generates the code on its own when you sign up, making sure it's short and unique. It doesn't appear as an editable field in Settings and stays the same forever — so you can go ahead and print the stickers.

Do I have to pay to register my restaurant?+

No. Signing up for and using qmen.us is free for the restaurant, with no monthly fee and no commission per order. qmen.us isn't a delivery marketplace: your page is yours, and anyone who reaches it came from your QR code, your link or your profile.

Do I need to install an app?+

No. Everything runs in the browser: the waiter's phone, the kitchen's tablet or monitor, and the guest's phone. You can save the address as a shortcut on your home screen, but there's no app to download from a store.

Can I register without an address or opening hours?+

Yes. Only the name is required to create the restaurant. But without an address you won't have the map on your public page or the call-the-waiter button, which only shows up for people on site; without hours, the page doesn't show whether the restaurant is open.

Does qmen.us receive the money from my orders?+

No, never. Payment is arranged directly between you and the customer — including PIX, which uses your own key. qmen.us takes care of the order, the kitchen and the menu, not the cash register.

My guests get a numbered tab instead of sitting at a table. Can I change the name?+

Yes. In Settings, in the General section, the "What to call your tables" field switches Table to Tab across the whole app — Dashboard, waiter app, kitchen and public page.
