How to add multiple public phone numbers to your menu

A restaurant rarely has just one phone number: there's the counter line, the reservations line and that mobile that answers on WhatsApp. qmen.us lets you add all of them, each with its own label, and shows the whole list at the top of your public menu.

Quick answer

Open Settings, go to the General section and tap + Add phone: that's how you add multiple public phone numbers. Each row has the number and an optional label, like Reservations. Tap Save and they all show at the top of your public menu, on the same line as the address.

What the phone numbers on your public menu are

Adding multiple public phone numbers means filling in a list, not a single field. In Settings, inside the General card, there's the Phone numbers block: each row holds a number and an optional label, and the + Add phone button creates as many rows as you need. These numbers are public on purpose — they show at the top of your menu, on the same line as the address and hours, for anyone who opens the page or scans the table QR code.

The label is what makes the list make sense: without it customers see three loose numbers and can't tell which is which; with it they see Reservations, Counter and Delivery. And there's a detail that works on its own: we look at the digits of each number and, when they make a valid Brazilian number, turn it into a WhatsApp link with the icon beside it. Anything that doesn't stays as plain text, with the phone icon — we'd rather show no link than show a broken one.

Why it's worth having more than one number on the page

  • Each topic goes to the right number. Reservations don't get in the way of delivery orders, and someone who just wants to check the hours doesn't tie up the counter phone. With a label in front, customers pick where to call on their own.
  • WhatsApp comes ready to go. A mobile number becomes a chat link automatically, with the WhatsApp icon. One tap on the page and the chat opens — no copying the number, saving a contact and hunting for it later.
  • Nothing gets lost when you change numbers. The list can be edited anytime: delete the old row, create the new one, save, and the public menu already shows the right version. No need to touch QR codes, tables or anything printed.
  • Contact goes straight to your restaurant. We don't sit in the middle of the conversation and we charge no commission per order: the number shown is yours, and whatever you arrange with the customer, PIX included, happens between the two of you.

How to add multiple public phone numbers in 7 steps

Seven steps, from the Dashboard to checking the list on your public menu.

  1. Open your restaurant Settings

On the restaurant Dashboard, tap the gear icon, the Settings button. A long page opens, split into cards: the first is General, with the restaurant's name, logo, photo and description.

  2. Find the Phone numbers block

Still inside the General card, scroll a little to the Phone numbers heading. On its right is the + Add phone button, and just below is the help line reminding you that these numbers are public and shown on the menu.

  3. Enter your main number on the first row

The first field is the number, with the suggested format (11) 99999-9999. There's no mask or required format: write it the way you want customers to read it, with the area code, up to 32 characters. The order of the rows is the order on the page, so put the number you most want people to call at the top.

Tip: The first number on the list is also the one we send in the structured data Google reads from your page — there's room for only one there. That's why it's worth putting your main number at the top.
  4. Add a label, if it makes sense

The second field is Label (optional), up to 40 characters. Write Reservations, Counter or Delivery and customers see Reservations: (11) 4000-0000 on the page. If you leave it blank, just the number shows — which is enough when there's only one phone.

  5. Tap + Add phone for each new number

Each tap creates an empty row below, with the cursor already in the number field. Repeat as many times as you need: there's no limit. A row left with a blank number is simply ignored when you save, so it's no problem if you create one too many by accident.

  6. Remove what you no longer use

At the end of each row is the ✕ button, for Remove phone. It takes the row off the screen right away. Changed numbers? Delete the old row, create the new one and that's it: when you save, the list that counts is exactly the one on screen.

  7. Tap Save and check your menu

The Save button, at the end of the form, stores everything at once — phone numbers, hours and the rest of the General card. Then open your public page, the short address you use on the table QR code, and look at the info line under the restaurant's name: the phone numbers are there, in the order you left them.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit to how many phone numbers I can add?+

The system sets no limit: you can tap + Add phone as many times as you like. Common sense is the limit, because all the numbers go on the same line at the top of the menu, next to the address. In practice, two or three cover everything a customer needs.

How does a number become a WhatsApp link?+

We look only at the digits. A Brazilian number with 10 or 11 digits (landline or mobile) gets +55 added and becomes a chat link. A number that's already international, with 12 or 13 digits, goes straight through. Anything else stays as plain text, with the phone icon, so a broken link is never created.

Can I add an extension or an internal number?+

Yes. The field takes up to 32 characters and requires no format, so you can write something like ext. 12. Just remember it won't become a WhatsApp link: it shows as text on the page, with the phone icon next to it.

Can customers call by tapping the number?+

Only the numbers that became WhatsApp links, which open the chat. The others are written on the page, for the customer to read or copy. If you want a tap to open something, add the restaurant's mobile as the first number.

How do I delete a phone number I no longer use?+

Tap the ✕ at the end of the row and then Save. When you save, we rewrite the whole list with what's on screen: what you removed disappears from the public menu right away. Blank rows are ignored too, so you don't need to delete them one by one before saving.

Do I need an app or to pay anything for this?+

Neither. qmen.us runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no app in a store, and it's free for the restaurant, with no commission per order. We're not a marketplace: customers talk directly to your restaurant.
