Open the Dashboard and tap Reports. The page opens on the last 30 days, up to today; in your restaurant reports you switch to 7, 30 or 90 days with the period buttons, or pick two dates in the selector next to them. The numbers and charts update instantly, without reloading the page.
What restaurant reports are
Restaurant reports are a single page inside the Dashboard that gathers everything that went through your orders over a range of days you choose. At the top are four numbers — revenue, orders, average order and prep time — and below them the charts: revenue day by day, sales by menu category, orders by hour, table occupancy, best-selling items and performance by waiter.
What counts is what actually became an order: Ordered, Preparing, Ready and Served. Draft and Cancelled are left out, and a cancelled item inside an order counts as zero. Each order falls on the day it was placed, in your restaurant's time zone — custom items included, which show up in the Other category. It's free, with no commission per order: we're not a marketplace and we don't process money, so these numbers are sales entered as orders, not a bank statement.
Why look at this every week
- The period changes everything at once. You choose it once, at the top of the page, and the four numbers and six charts adjust together. There's no separate filter per chart for you to forget to change and end up comparing the wrong things.
- Comparing is more useful than looking in isolation. Making R$ 42,00 more in a day says nothing on its own. With the Previous line and the change arrows, you see right away whether the week went up or down against the week before, with the same number of days on both sides.
- It mirrors what happens in the dining room. Orders by hour and table occupancy show when the restaurant fills up, and prep time shows whether the kitchen is within the target you set yourself. You can schedule staff by looking at data, not guesses.
- The numbers leave the page. The CSV opens in Excel so you can cross-check it against anything you like, and the PDF is the same screen ready to send to your accountant or business partner. No app, no paid export, no asking anyone for anything.
How to open reports and choose the period in 8 steps
There are eight steps: three to open the page and understand the period, two to change it, one to compare, and two to read the numbers and export them.
-
Open Reports from the Dashboard
Sign in to your account and go to the restaurant Dashboard. At the top, next to the other buttons, is Reports. The page is the same on a computer, tablet or phone — qmen.us runs in the browser, there's nothing to install. If you look after more than one restaurant, check the restaurant name in the page header first.
-
See which period is already selected
Right below the title are your page's address, the Period and the day it ends — for example, 30 days, through Sep 21, 2026. That's what the page assumes on its own: the last 30 days up to today. Every number and every chart on the screen follows this period; there's no filter hidden somewhere else.
-
Switch with the 7, 30 or 90 days buttons
The Period bar has three buttons: 7 days, 30 days and 90 days. Tap one and the page fetches the new numbers without reloading — the chosen button stays highlighted and the count in the header changes with it. They all count backward from today, so 7 days is the week that just went by, not the calendar week.
-
Pick a date range by hand
Next to the buttons are two date fields with an arrow between them: the start and the end. Fill in both and the page updates by itself. Neither accepts a future date, and the range only works if the start date is the same as or earlier than the end date. The maximum is 366 days; if you ask for more, we cut it at that limit.
Tip: To close out a whole month, use the date range instead of the buttons: 30 days ends today, and a calendar month almost never ends today. -
Turn on Compare with previous period
At the far right of the bar is the Compare with previous period switch, which comes on by default. It draws a dotted Previous line on the Revenue over the period chart covering the same number of days immediately before. Turn it off when you want to see only the current line; the change arrows on the four numbers at the top keep showing either way.
-
Read the four numbers at the top
Revenue, Orders, Average order and Prep time, each with the percentage change against the previous period and a mini chart of the end of the period. Prep time is the average between the order being placed and becoming Ready, and below it appears the house target you set in Settings. An amount like R$ 42,00 is the average order, not the total.
-
Scroll down to the charts for the same period
The rest of the page follows the chosen period: Revenue over the period day by day, Sales by category from the menu, Orders by hour, Table occupancy by day and hour, Best-selling items with quantity and amount, and Performance by waiter with each one's orders, revenue and average order. A period with no activity shows no data in place of the chart.
-
Export the numbers
In the top right corner are Export CSV and Export PDF. The CSV downloads a file with the dates already in its name, containing the four numbers at the top, each day's revenue and orders and the best-selling items — it opens straight in Excel, with accents displayed correctly. The PDF opens the browser's print window: choose Save as PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't the revenue in the report match my register?+
Because the report counts what was placed as orders, not what landed in your account. qmen.us doesn't process money: PIX is arranged directly between the customer and the restaurant, and what we know is the value of the items in each order. Tips, discounts at checkout and sales made outside the system don't show up here.
Do Draft and cancelled orders count?+
No, they don't. Only placed orders count: Ordered, Preparing, Ready and Served. Draft and Cancelled are left out, and a cancelled item inside an order that went ahead counts as zero in the total, in sales by category and in best-selling items.
Can I see a period longer than 90 days?+
Yes, with the date selector. The buttons stop at 90 days, but by choosing the start and end dates you can go up to 366 days. The end date can't be later than today, and the start date has to be the same as or earlier than it.
Does the page update itself during service?+
No. It fetches the numbers when you open it and again each time you change the period. To see what just happened in the dining room, reload the page or tap the period button again — live tracking of service is the Dashboard's job, not the reports'.
Does Export PDF download a file?+
It opens the browser's print window with the page exactly as it looks on screen. Then you choose Save as PDF (or print it directly). qmen.us runs in the browser and isn't in any app store, so the browser itself is what creates the PDF.
Glossary
- Period
- The range of days the report looks at. It defaults to the last 30 days, and you change it with the 7, 30 and 90 days buttons or the date picker.
- Placed order
- An order that left Draft and moved on: Ordered, Preparing, Ready or Served. It's what counts in the report's numbers.
- Average order
- Revenue divided by the number of orders. On the Dashboard it's today's; in Reports, it's for the period you chose.
- Prep time
- The average minutes between an order being placed and becoming Ready in the kitchen. The house target, set in Settings, appears next to it.
- Compare with previous period
- A switch that draws the dotted Previous line on the revenue chart, covering the same number of days right before the chosen period.
